Chris recognizes the evolution of today's lacrosse game and the resulting need for quality coaching at the youth level requiring both an understanding of today's game and the ability to connect with and properly instruct youth players.  Chris played collegiately on Michigan State's last varsity team and then at Penn State.  After graduating he played for three years with the Mt Washington Lacrosse Club then traded in his lacrosse stick for a hockey stick.  Always a multi-sport athlete, Chris appreciates the physical, and mental, benefits that come from playing multiple sports.  Playing hockey and coaching youth hockey has also shaped Chris' coaching style and teaching philosophies as hockey development at the youth level focuses on play in tight spaces, high intensity, individual skill development, and creativity
